In the framework of the Helpdesk project, ENSIE is organising the 2^nd workshop on tools aiming at giving better access to EU funding for social services, also called “sectoral workshops”. This workshop will take place on Monday the 25^th of September 2023 from 9:30 – 12.30.

Background information:

Helpdesk is a project funded by the European Commission and implemented by 16 organisations/networks, among them ENSIE. The project seeks to make EU funds (mainly ESF+ and ERDF) better accessible for Social Service Providers, while at the same time also offering guidance and support to Managing Authorities on how to set up effective interventions. The project aims to set up the building blocks of a Helpdesk. The project website, including the helpdesk, is available at www.eufunds4social.eu.This is the 2^nd workshop of a series of 3 during which we will create concrete tools that answer to the needs of the work integration sector targeting to simplify access to EU funds.

The 3 workshops focus on the following tools:

• Topic 1: Project Application Form and Call for Proposal
• Topic 2: Project Budget (usage of Simplified Cost Options)
• Topic 3: Project Reporting

During the initial workshop, we introduced the tools and received your very valuable feedback. Our expert Jukka Lindberg (Vates, Finland) has reviewed the tools with your comments. This workshop will give us a 2nd opportunity to enrich them with your expertise.

In October, the 3^rd workshop will be a presentation of the final version of the tools.

This is a unique opportunity to provide concrete input and work together on tools that could help you get better access to EU funding! The tools will be gathered in a toolkit which is aimed at managing authorities, but which will also be presented to the Commission! Hence, your expertise and knowledge would be crucial.
