2.1. Introduction
“Keep your search efficient and targeted!”
Résumé :
The chapter provides a comprehensive guide on identifying and applying for EU funding calls. The process encompasses familiarisation with the Helpdesk site, referencing official EU websites, networking, attending workshops, creating partnerships, and strategically utilising keywords. Early initiation, efficient organisation, and capacity building are advised for successful application.
When it comes to searching for EU calls for proposals, it may initially feel overwhelming. You are probably fighting with the information overload – there are many EU websites administered by the European Commission, translated into the national languages. There are also the country websites, administered by the Managing Authorities. There are other websites that explain where to look for funding, how to run projects and how to report on them. There is historical information, and there is definitely a lot of obsolete information.
This section is not meant to double the information presented elsewhere. We prefer to refer you to the original sources and support you in getting more acquainted and comfortable with the EU funding terrain.
It is our experience that the organisations new to this process do not manage their time and resources efficiently. We are not giving you the link to the funding source. We want to give you a few tools and you can always use our Helpdesk support team for any specific questions.
